Requires identity and signing authority, the purpose of the enquiry, and export-control and sanctions screening.

Need-to-know exchange under mutual NDA.
Requires an executed mutual NDA and a confirmed need to know, scoped to the specific question.

Requirements-driven, environment-validated integration.
Requires a defined requirement and an environment to validate against. Terms are set in writing.
How this relates to the other sequences on this site
Three numbered sequences appear across this site and they describe different things at different scales. This roadmap is the widest: the whole arc of a relationship, from public reading to integration. The five-step access protocol on the engagement page is narrower — it governs the single transition from phase 02 to phase 03, and nothing else. The five-gate due-diligence sequence shown in the corporate section is the same discipline seen from an institutional investor's side rather than a technical counterparty's. None of the three is a stage of another; none implies a date.
